Environmental Policy

Cnaipe Limited is committed to minimising the impact of its activities on the environment and promoting and supporting sustainable businesses, both clients and suppliers. Cnaipe is guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals

Using the five Rs of sustainability, as a business Cnaipe will:

Refuse to 

• Buy environmentally harmful products

• Shop with companies that are impacting the environment

• Buy new products where refurbished or recycled products are available

• Use disposable products

Reduce

• Water use - ensuring that water is used efficiently

• Carbon emissions through

• environmentally friendly transport - public transport, walking, etc

• electricity use - switching off appliances and equipment when not in use and using energy efficient lighting

• lowering the heating thermostat

• efficient use of online platforms ensuring that web and social media use have a low impact

Reuse

• Materials - such as packing materials

• Purchase second hand or used where possible

Repair

• Equipment - including furniture and electronics

Recycle

• All unusable glass, plastics, cardboard, paper, aluminium, food waste, fabrics

• Irreparable electronics

• Where possible recycle waste water - i.e. washing up water to water the plants
